And much more...
This is the sixth edition of Richard Hawkins' well respected mariner's companion to the Lakes of Gippsland and Eastern Victoria.

Each plan has been produced on as large a scale as practicable, bearing in mind the size of boat lockers, shelves and baskets. Descriptions of the locations follow an east to west sequence in the order in which they run in the book (Lakes Entrance is at the beginning, with Sale last but by no means least).

There is a good reason for this. The port and starboard navigation marks only bear the correct colour codes (red and green respectively) if the navigator is passing them from seaward, or going with the rising (or flood) tide. This is the way most of the plans run through the book
The book contains a wealth of information, including a list of public boat ramps, information on radio frequencies used by the Emergency Services, as well as a brief description of the area's history.

The images that follow are taken from the book. They include the Contents page, and some sample pages showing typical content. If you are not familiar with the book they will show what the book is like. If you are already using an earlier edition of the book, they will provide you with an idea of the changes that have been made.
